GULF COAST AREA

Homeowners living in certain counties in the Gulf Coast area that were affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita* may exclude themselves from the settlement if they purchased their homes after August 12, 2002. This date differs from the September 12, 2005 date that applies throughout the rest of the country.

Please check the map and list below to ensure that your county is considered to be in the Gulf Coast area and that you are therefore eligible to use the August 12,2002 home purchase date.
